Nothing is booked on that day yet. Mornings, afternoons and evenings are all available to request.

One session is already in the diary. There is usually room for another — say which part of the day suits you.

A request is not a booking
Your date is held once we've spoken, a package is agreed and the deposit is in. Until then, ask and we'll confirm.
How this calendar works
This is the studio diary, not a guess. A day marked open has nothing booked on it; a limited day already has one session and usually has room for another; a full day has as many as the studio takes. Closed days are leave, public holidays, or a date being held while somebody's deposit is arranged.
Only the count leaves the server — no names, no session types, no times. Somebody else's booking is nobody else's business.
Booking a date you see here
Choosing a day carries it through to the booking form, so you are not retyping it. A date is only actually yours once a deposit is in; until then it stays open to anyone else who asks. Weekend mornings and the hour before sunset go first, particularly between September and April.
If the day you want is full
Ask anyway. Cancellations happen, a second session on the same day is sometimes possible, and if the date is genuinely fixed — a birthday, a wedding, family visiting from overseas — say so in the message and it will be worked around where it can be.
