Five minutes to relax, then we shoot
Most portrait sessions start the same way — a bit of awkwardness, a few minutes of talking about anything but the camera, and then it disappears. Whether it's a solo portrait, a family session, or headshots for work, the goal is the same: a picture that actually looks like you.
Sessions run from the Centurion studio or on location, indoors or out, depending on what suits the subject. Every individual, couple, and family is welcome, however your family looks.

How a portrait session works
A portrait session runs about ninety minutes. The first fifteen are spent talking — where the light is good that day, which outfit you feel most like yourself in, whether you want the whole family in one frame or the children on their own first. Nobody is asked to pose until they have stopped feeling watched.
Sessions run from the studio in Centurion, or on location anywhere in Gauteng: your own home, a park, a jacaranda street in Pretoria, a rooftop in Johannesburg. Studio work suits headshots and anything that needs a clean, repeatable look. On-location work suits families, couples and anyone who would rather be somewhere that means something to them.
What you get
Every session is delivered as a private online gallery, usually within ten working days. You mark the frames you love, those get the closer retouch, and the full set is yours to download and keep. Prints, albums and wall pieces can be added at any point afterwards — there is no deadline on deciding.
What it costs
Portrait sessions start at R950 for a mini session and run to the full studio and location packages. The quote estimator builds an indicative figure in about a minute, and the packages page lists exactly what each one includes. A non-refundable deposit holds your date; the balance is due on the day.
Bringing children
Family sessions with small children are booked for the morning wherever possible, and run to the child's pace rather than a shot list. The guide to family portraits with kids covers the things that actually help — snacks, timing, and why the fourth outfit change is usually a mistake.
