What a glamour session involves
A glamour session is a produced shoot: styling, hair and make-up, considered lighting, and direction the whole way through. It runs two to three hours in the Centurion studio, and most of that is spent building the look rather than shooting it. If you have never been in front of a camera like this, that is the normal starting point, not a problem to solve first.
Glamour sits between a portrait and an editorial. It is bolder than a headshot, more styled than a family session, and fully clothed unless you have booked otherwise. Hair, make-up and wardrobe
A make-up artist can be booked into the session, and it is worth it: studio light is unforgiving in a way daylight is not. Bring two or three outfits you already feel strong in. The studio keeps a rail of basics, a robe and heels in common sizes, and there is a private space to change.
Where the images go
Nowhere you have not agreed to. Glamour work is only ever shown publicly with a signed release, and the release is per-image, not a blanket yes. Plenty of clients keep the whole set private, and that changes nothing about how the session is shot. How releases work is written out in full.
