Model releases, explained

Who owns what, who can use which images where, and how you sign — in plain language.

Why this page exists

Every session is covered by a release

Whatever you're booking — a paid client session, a private Stefsetherealdream session, or a TFP/TFCD collaboration — a written model release is signed before or on the day. It sets out, in plain language, who owns what and who can use the images where.

This page is a summary for information only. It isn't the release itself and doesn't replace it — the actual agreement is reviewed and signed as part of booking, and we're happy to send a sample release ahead of your session if you'd like to see it first.

Already booked? Your personal link opens the release for your session type. If you've lost it, ask Stef to resend it — or open the release page and follow the instructions there.

Boudoir, bridal boudoir & artistic nudes

Covers every session under the Stefsetherealdream collection.

  • Private-by-default release — images are not used publicly unless you separately opt in, in writing
  • Any public preview (like the curated galleries on this site) uses only images you've specifically approved
  • Full-resolution files are delivered privately, usually via a password-protected gallery
  • You can withdraw usage consent for any previously-approved image at any time
Collaborations

TFP/TFCD sessions

Covers collaboration shoots booked through the Collaborations page.

  • Mutual-usage release — both the studio and the collaborator can use agreed images for portfolio and promotion
  • No session fee changes hands; the trade is time and final images
  • Any use beyond portfolio/promotion (commercial licensing, print sale, etc.) is agreed separately, in writing
  • A parent or guardian must sign for any collaborator under 18
