Almost everyone who books a first boudoir session says a version of the same sentence: "I want to do this, but I'm nervous." Good news — that's the standard starting point, not a problem to fix before you arrive. Here's how a session under Stefsetherealdream actually works, so the unknowns stop being unknowns.

Before the day: you set the boundaries

When your session is booked you get a personal link to complete online. It's more than admin — you set your comfort level for every part of the shoot in advance: lingerie, implied, artistic styles, posing adjustments, who's on set. Three honest options for each: comfortable, open to discuss, or off limits.

Anything you mark off-limits is never suggested on the day. Not hinted at, not "since we're here anyway" — it's simply not part of your session. You can also name hard limits in your own words, privately note anything medical or emotional that helps Stef look after you, and change your mind about any of it before or during the shoot.

Privacy is the default, not an upgrade

Stefsetherealdream sessions are private by default. Your images are not used publicly anywhere unless you separately opt in, in writing, image by image — and you can withdraw that consent at any time. What a session actually feels like

  • It starts with coffee and a conversation, not a camera in your face.
  • Posing is directed the whole way through — you never have to know what to do with your hands.
  • The first twenty minutes are the awkward ones for everyone. Then they aren't.
  • You'll see frames on the back of the camera early — that's usually the moment the nerves leave.
  • You can pause, have water, change, or stop entirely at any point. Your session, your pace.

What to bring

Two or three sets you feel great in beat a suitcase of maybes. Well-fitting matters far more than expensive. A robe for between set-ups, something oversized and comfortable (a partner's shirt is a classic for a reason), and any personal touches — jewellery, veil, a jersey that means something. If you're planning bridal boudoir as a gift, mention it: albums and timing get planned around the wedding.

Can I bring someone?

Yes — one support person is welcome; just arrange it beforehand so the session is planned around it. And to be clear on the other rule: these sessions are strictly 18+, no exceptions.
